Services and Support
The Technology & Education Center provides computer support services
for College of Education faculty, staff, and students. These services
include:

hardware and software, |

Upgrading
hardware, |

Removing
viruses, |
| |

Reinstalling
operating systems as well as some applications, and |
| |
- |
Addressing
networking issues. |
We support IBM PC-compatible machines running any version of
DOS or Windows, and Apple Macintoshes running OS 8.6 or later.

Please note: We make every effort to prevent the loss
of user's files when servicing hardware. That said, we strongly
encourage users to back up important documents regularly. As
users are responsible for saving and backing up their data,
we do not assume responsibility for lost data.
Technology Integration Program (TIP)
The Technology Integration Program offers opportunities and
resources for faculty, staff, and students to improve their
knowledge of the integration of computer technology into instructional
activities. We provide practicing and perspective educators
with the skills and tools to incorporate computer technologies
into their instructional repertoires. Resources and services
include:

Equipment
The TEC offers the opportunity for faculty and staff to sign
out equipment for short-term, on-campus use. Items include:

Laptops
with standard applications (PCs running Windows 2000 or
XP with MS Office, Adobe Reader and other programs), |

- |
Proxima
portable projectors, and |
| |
- |
Digital
cameras (still and video). |

Please note: the faculty or staff member who signs
out the equipment may be held accountable for damaged or lost
